Early Nova rack and pinion cradle system with tilt column
Flaming River has now engineered a manual rack and pinion cradle
system for the early Nova 1962-67. This system replaces the
early long shaft steering box with a new tilt column. The true
fixture welded mounting cradle fits between the frame rails and
bolts in place using the original chassis location. The system
installs easily with hand tools (some modification required).
It
provides full turning radius with a much more responsive
steering system than the original.

Manual Quick Ratio Steering Box Kit
Flaming River makes a new direct bolt in steering system for
your early Nova to eliminate the long shaft column and sloppy
worn out steering box. This new box design mounts with a
convenient chassis bracket and features a quick steering ratio
of only 3.5 turns lock -to lock compared to the original 6
turns. This allows for an overall improved steering response.
Since the early Nova used a slave cylinder this same manual box
can be used with either the power or manual system. Flaming
River included virtually everything you need for a clean simple installation
right down to the u-joint and steering column
